UPGRADE TRACKAGE WITH NEW RAIL, CONCRETE TIES AND STEEL TIES
ATOM Rail removed old worn out rail from a difficult area at a major transportation museum. Installed concrete ties on the siding, and steel ties on the main. Moving the 100lb rail from the main to replace the 85lb rail on the old siding, and installing relay 136lb rail on the main. ATOM Rail also installed grating to keep the siding's ballast from being washed down the drainage ditch, that was causing cross level issues.
REMOVE AND INSTALL NEW WELDED RAIL CONCRETE PANEL CROSSING ON A BUSY HIGHWAY
ATOM Rail was contracted to dismantle and rebuild a large crossing for a customer located on a busy highway. Our team was able to complete the job in less than 4 days, ensuring the plant did not run out of product and was able to continue production.
REMOVING AND REPLACING 4 WORN OUT SWITCHES IN A CUSTOMERS BUSY RAILYARD
ATOM Rail was contracted to demolish 4 very old and worn out switches in one end of a customers very busy railyard. The replacement switched required careful engineering and planning to install and mate back with existing trackage, and to allow the customer to have access to their interchange quickly.
LOADING AND SECUREMENT OF 3 COACHS FOR TRAVEL CROSS COUNTRY
ATOM Rail handled the loading and securement of 3 1930's passenger coaches for transport from NC to a tourist operator in WA state.
