The Flag Ship of the Atom Rail fleet is locomotive 107. Built by General Electric in 1989 for the Department of Energy it was used at the Savannah River Site. Rebuilt in 2016, then sold as surplus and acquired by ATOM Rail in 2024. Currently operational, this locomotive is available to lease.

Locomotive #6 was built for the Milwaukee Road as an SW1200 in 1954 as their #2040. Rebuilt and sold to the US Navy in 1987, it has served as mainline power for Earle Naval Weapons Station in NJ. It is about to come off a lease contract and after some minor mechanical work will be available for lease. MU capable.

Locomotive #7 was built for the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway in 1960 as SW900 #59. Rebuilt to SW1200 standards and sold to the US Navy in 1987, it has served as mainline power for Earle Naval Weapons Station in NJ. Will be returned to service and used for our own switching operations or available for lease. MU capable.

Locomotive 622 is a Baldwin VO1000 rebuilt with an EMD 645. ATOM Rail plans to rebuild this locomotive into a Tier 4 compliant locomotive.

Locomotive #349 was built for the US Navy in 1943. Rebuilt by Chattahoochee locomotive works in 1988, it was sent to Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. After transfer to Earle Naval Weapons Station in NJ, it never saw service. Will be returned to service and used for our Rockton Terminal Switcher.

Built as a long distance coach for the ACL, becoming SCL 5054 after the merger. This car was sold to Amtrak in 1971. Car is currently set up as a bar lounge. Plans are to update interior and restore systems to operation, and make it available for lease as a multi use table/lounge. Amtrak certification is planned. Currently has half HEP.

Built for the US Army as a hospital ward car in 9/1952, this car was later used by Conrail as a business train support car. Later it was transferred to Norfolk Southern and used with their track geometry train. Parked since 2010, ATOM Rail has acquire this car and shipped it to our Rockton Terminal, where the generator has been placed back in operation. Long term plans for this car are to turn it into a First Class open door 'observation room' car with kitchen for excursion or shortline service.

Former PRR 1640, used by Amtrak on the MBTA for a few years till 1985. Sold to a private owner, this car was part of a museum until recently. Work has begun to bring the car to the Rockton Terminal, to be evaluated and returned to service. Current plans are to restore as a HEP equipped excursion coach.

Our caboose/office. Built for the Baltimore and Ohio railroad as a C-26 bay window caboose. At some point the DOD acquired it and used it at Sunny Point Marine Terminal in NC. Currently being used as an office for our Rockton Terminal.
